FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

This package is designed for groups of 10 to 40 persons. Smaller groups of 10–12 travel in a Tempo Traveller, while larger groups are accommodated in a full-size bus. We ensure all group members stay together throughout the journey for safety and convenience. For groups above 40, please contact us for a customised group quote.

Yes, senior citizens are welcome on this yatra. However, the Kedarnath trek is 16 km (one way) on steep Himalayan terrain. We strongly recommend seniors opt for ponies, palki (palanquin), or a helicopter ride to Kedarnath. These services are available at an additional cost and can be arranged locally. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can make suitable arrangements.

The standard pickup and drop point is Haridwar Railway Station. For groups travelling from Delhi, we offer pickup from Delhi (additional charges may apply). Please confirm your preferred pickup location at the time of booking. Our coordinator will share exact pickup time and location details one day prior to departure.

At Kedarnath, accommodation is provided in pre-booked tent camps or GMVN guest houses (depending on availability and season). Rooms are basic but clean with blankets and essential facilities. Given the high altitude (3,583 m), temperatures can drop significantly at night — warm clothing is strongly recommended. In Guptkashi, we provide double-sharing rooms in comfortable hotels with hot water and in-house dining.

Kedarnath temple opens every year in late April or May (Akshaya Tritiya) and closes in November (Bhai Dooj). The best time to visit is May–June (before monsoon) and September–October (post-monsoon) for clear weather and safe trekking conditions. July–August (monsoon) brings heavy rainfall and landslide risk — travel during this period requires extra caution. We recommend checking the official temple calendar before booking.

No, helicopter charges are not included in this group package. The package covers the standard trek route via Gaurikund. However, if your group prefers the helicopter option, we can assist with booking helicopter tickets (Phata / Sirsi to Kedarnath) at an additional cost. Helicopter availability is subject to weather and advance booking — please contact us at least 2–3 weeks prior for helicopter arrangements.

Cancellations made 15+ days before departure receive a full refund minus processing charges. 7–14 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund. In case of temple closure due to natural calamities, bad weather, or government restrictions, we offer free rescheduling to a future date. Full T&Cs shared at the time of booking.
